Teddy's Hiding

Teddy's hiding,
To and fro,
In and out,
20000 leagues.

Like rays of light,
Cutting through,
Giving life,
Murky depths.

There you shine,
Or is it me?
Hard to say,
No it's you.

I couldn't be,
Not without,
Chain reaction,
Too much?

I never knew,
Pandora's box,
She opened wide,
Did she want?

New light 'tis strong,
Hurting eyes,
Doing more,
Saving teddy.

There he is,
Soft and fury,
Bear hug,
He felt love.

First it was there,
Without handles,
Teddy's hug,
Felt unrequint.

So strong the light,
Teddy couldn't,
Not with his handle,
Sad felt he?

Hugs he was,
Hugs he knew,
He couldn't hold,
Hugs felt meaningless.

One can't hug light,
Expecting to hold,
Hugs tantalize,
Yet wanted more.

He thought of want,
Need turned out,
Strength he was,
Breath he gave.

Little known,
More said,
Tears opened,
Hearts held.

Meaning given,
2 ways the same,
2 voices heard,
Everything.

Of life and all,
20000 leagues,
There she found,
Her teddy hiding
